UK Bed Sizes – Bed Dimension GuideBed frame dimensions can vary depending on the style you choose, so if you're unsure whether a particular bed will fit your space, please contact us for guidance. As a general rule:- Sleigh beds are the longest due to their curved head and footboards.
- Wingback beds are wider because of their winged headboard design.
- Square-frame Fabric Designer Beds tend to be the most compact.
- Adding gas-lift ottoman storage to a slatted frame increases the overall length by approximately 1–2 inches (3–5 cm).
