    UK Bed Sizes – Bed Dimensions Guide

    Bed frame dimensions can vary depending on the style and design. If you're unsure whether a particular bed will fit in your space, please feel free to ask for guidance. As a general rule:
    • Sleigh beds are longer due to their curved headboards and footboards.

    • Wingback beds are wider thanks to their winged headboard design.
    • Fabric Designer Beds with square frames tend to be the most compact.
    • Adding gas-lift ottoman storage to a slatted frame increases the overall length by approximately 1–2 inches (3–5 cm).

    The standard UK mattress sizes are:

     3ft Single, 4ft Small Double, 4ft6 Double, 5ft King Size, and 6ft Super King Size.
    These refer to mattress measurements. Bed frame footprints will vary slightly, but all our beds are designed to fit standard UK mattresses.
